Rolfing- A Different Approach to Posture, Pain & Movement
The body doesn't always experience a problem where the problem begins.
As a Certified Advanced Rolfer®, I look at the relationships between different parts of the body rather than focusing only on the place that hurts. Through hands-on Structural Integration, movement, and careful observation, we explore how posture, movement patterns, soft tissue, and the body's relationship to gravity may be influencing how you feel and move.
My goal isn't to force your body into a particular position. It's to help you discover greater organization, adaptability, and ease.
What Does Rolfing Feel Like?
Rolfing developed a reputation for being painful and excessively aggressive. This is because it was be believed to be a nessissary approach for change to occur. Over time we discovered that this is not necessary to produce meaningful change, and now some Rolfers work very light handed. While I generally don't work lightly, I also don't believe that more pressure necessarily produces better results. I try to find a middle ground—enough pressure for the nervous system to understand the intention of the work without overwhelming it.

The most fundamental approach to Rolfing to do a basic 10 series. A short series usually consists of 3 sessions. You can come in anywhere from once a month to once a week when doing a series, and anytime you want when not going through a series. You may find that you do not need to see a Rolfer as often as you do a Chiropractor or massage therapist. It is not necessary to do a Rolfing series to benefit from it, we have extensive education in anatomy, posture correction, and movement.
Packages are not refundable but are fully transferable and do not expire. Share them with friends and family.
